About Us
Welcome to my world of beekeeping! The adventure began years ago when my dad, who had a couple of bee colonies as a kid, sparked my interest in beekeeping. However, due to my youngest brother's severe bee sting allergy, the idea was put on hold. Fast forward to a local beekeeper lecture that reignited my passion. The hour long conversation, quickly turned to 3 hours. However, the timing was not right, and my interest was placed on hold.
A few years later, I was able to embark on this adventure. A great friend told me, “Never ask what if”

I took the plunge with my beekeeping journey, thinking this was a hobby to relax. Little did I know the depth and complexity of beekeeping, from old-school techniques to the science behind these fascinating creatures.

10 years ago I purchased 2 complete hive bodies from a local store, and purchased 10 pounds of bees from California. I relied on my dad's guidance to learn the basics, but unaware of the immense dedication, bee math, and time beekeeping demands.
Soon, my 2 hives turned to 4 then 8, then 16, and before I knew it I have a buzzing 75 hives to look after.

As time passed, my hobby evolved into a mission to educate, and mentor new beekeepers. Beekeeping is an art form, a delicate balance of science and nature that requires constant learning and adaptation.

The following slogans emerged and began to have valuable meaning to me:

Experiencing the art of beekeeping
What works today may not work tomorrow
What works for one may not work for another
Let’s work together to find a solution that works for you
My relaxing hobby quickly evolved. This journey led to the establishment of County Farm Bees LLC in January 2023, where we not only sell honey and related products, but also focus on education and community building. Beekeeping has become a love-hate affair, a challenging yet rewarding pursuit that has given me a deeper appreciation for nature and the intricate world of bees.
Join me in experiencing the ever-evolving art of beekeeping, where collaboration and shared knowledge pave the way for a sustainable future.

Let's work together to preserve this ancient practice and support each other on this exhilarating journey.
